It’s a heat wave here in SD. We’ve been having record highs on and off this past week. It’s 9am, I just walked out to my car to listen to Rome’s first segment on the radio, and I instantly started sweating. I came right back in cause it was too hot and Rome is not on today, he’s speaking at Pat Tillman’s funeral this morning. Well, when it’s hot, what better place to be than the beach, which is where we spent the weekend. Actually, Saturday I went alone up to Encinitas to surf and take in some sun because Tracey had a class or something all day. But yesterday we both got up to Encinitas and had a great relaxing time, which makes it that much harder to be at work right now. Sometime during this weekend I watch the Cooler with WH Macey. It was a solid flick, nothing that special about it, although I could see why Alec Baldwin was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, he was good. Not sure if I’ve mentioned this, but we have planned a memorial day trip to Baja Mexico. We’ve rented a beach house for pretty cheap with two other couples/friends of ours. So I have four weeks of anticipation for that. And blah blah, this blog is getting boring real quick so I’m going to stop.
