In the word's of the Lord, It is finished. I finished my big project at work, 5 hours late, but finished nonetheless. Nothing like working two 15 hour days in a row to make you feel like a man. Now it is time to party. Everyone have a safe weekend, I will be sleeping for most of it. Late

Wow, it’s 2:30am and I am still at work folks, this sucks. I’ve had 5 Mountain Dews and 2 Cokes, and a bunch of pretzels. I’ve got this big project to finish by Friday morning, so I’m going to have to do two all nighters in a row, with maybe a few naps here and there. But it will be all good come Friday night when it’s all over. I will sleep most of Saturday away and go hiking somewhere on Sunday with Tracey, who is the best wife I have ever had (ha ha ha, that was such an original joke, I’m a dork). But seriously, Tracey has been helping me out big time this week, supporting me and encouraging me as I’ve been going through this tough week of work, she’s the best.

And how about that song the Castle on Blenderhead’s second CD, scary. And tonight I was listening to this old burned CD of Craig’s Brother, an old Tooth and Nail punk band, and at the end of the CD was one of the Merbabies EP’s, and it rocked me. It had been a long time since I had heard them.

Joel, did you get my package in the mail yet?

And GL is now serving the Lord @ the SD downtown fire station. Peace and Love to all.

The hardest part of my day is after I get to work, and read everyone’s blogs and check my email, then I think, crap, now I have to work all day. I know, it’s sad. I need more people to blog so I can put off working more.

My stupid Honda is making weird noises again so I had to take it in to get looked at. I got a lift to work on their shuttle and the driver had really bad breath. The kind I could smell way in the back of the shuttle. I know it was him and not someone else because it was only the two of us in the shuttle. I thought I would brighten up your day with that.

I had an ok night of playing bball. I only slightly re-injured my ankle, so no more bball till BG. I put in a couple more hours of work at home last night and watched NYPD Blue, which was just ok. For some reason I thought Andy Rickter was on at 9:30 and was upset to see 24 on, so I guess I missed it, did you happen to record it Dad? And Dad, I did not realize the new Lord of the Rings comes out next Wednesday, that is a long time for you to wait to see it, so it is cool if you go ahead and see it before we come. I don’t even know if I can wait that long.

Justin, good to hear things are going well with the youth stuff. I’m still pullin in $%,#@!+ and year.

GL is now representing at Cush Honda in Mission Valley SD. UK won and Bogans looks good.

Hey Joel, remember when you, me and Shaffer….

Ok Lars, I know UK punked UNC, so props to you. But I'm glad you are as ashamed as you should be for the Steelers, that was bad. I will be watching UK tonight, so hopefully they keep playing well.

Today is a bit of a bummer because my friend at work, Sean, got fired today. I won't get into why, but it sucks. And right before Christmas. Sorry Sean, you are a good man.

I'm going to try to play some bball tonight so hopefully my ankle is ok, it is still a little tender. I've got 4 Christmas parties to go to this week, so things are staying busy. cya.

Ok peeps, plenty of interesting things to discuss. I had a good time in LA with my friend Rob. We first took a ride on his motorcycle, which was a Goldwing Honda cruiser, two seater. I wore a helmet and held on tight. I won’t say how fast we went, but more than we should have. Anyway, we went to some motorcycle convention in Long Beach, so it was cool to see where Snoop Dog represents, yo. Next we went up to Hermosa Beach and had lunch at some Irish place and watched some football. We went back to his place in Redondo Beach and hung out and talked music, work and life in general. My friend Rob has a roommate named Gabe (who is a girl, BTW) and she was cool. She used to be into indie music so I gave her a refresher on what is cool now. Later that night we went to the Hermosa Saloon, which actually had the swinging doors like in old western movies. It was fun. (Jay, the Lord’s work was done at the Saloon). We went to bed late and I got up at 11am. Then Rob wanted to take us to see the Korean Friendship Bell that was up in the hills near Long Beach. So we drove for like a half hour up into the hills. And when I got there, it was really cool, right on the ocean. Then it hit me, I told Rob that this place looks just like the scene in the Usual Suspects where the guys go to LA to sell the diamonds to Redfoot, and they drive up to this place on a hill to meet Redfoot, and it looks like a big Asian designed structure, with a giant bell, anyway, hopefully you remember that part. So when I got home yesterday I watched Usual Suspects, and sure enough, it was the same spot. So I was pumped that I stood where Keven Spacey and Benicio Del Toro stood, very cool.

Justin, I was already excited to come home for a visit, but now that I know that that picture is waiting for me, I can hardly contain myself, amazing. I’m into your 2002 review, I don’t think I have time to do one before we come back though, but would like to read yours.

Here are some lyrics from a band called the Used that say how I have been feeling lately about living in Cali and started this new life our here:

So here I am it’s in my hands
And I’ll savor every moment of this
So here I am alive at last
And I’ll savor every moment of this
