I finally talked to me friend Rob and will be chillin with him for a few days in LA. I'm going to leave around noon Thursday. Im hitting Amoeba, as I have said before, then I'm going to Santa Monica to chill and probably see a matinee of T3 or 28 Days Later, then go see Koufax then hook up with Rob. I played a little bball in OB after work. I'm in the middle of watching Gangs of New York, which I rented. I took a break to pack my stuff for my trip. I talked with Tracey for a bit and she said Dad called about getting together next week, so that is cool. Have Tracey show you the video of our new condo. Our Agent is having one of his inspector guys take a second look at the wall issue tomorrow, so we should have a final assessment. I feel pretty at peace that everything is going to be ok. I have been very productive since Tracey has been gone. I got car washes for both our cars, cleaned them out of trash and other crap and vacuumed the insides. Tonight I’m going to Armor All the insides as well. Clean cards feel good. I went and lifted weights last night for the first time since I got my new membership to 24hr Fitness, so I’m very sore today. I’m planning on going surfing tonight after work as well. Last night I watched Keen Eddie and Lucky, and Rome is Burning earlier in the day cause it’s on at 4pm here. Mike, I totally saw that Sealab shirt at Hot Topic the other week, I thought I had mentioned it in a past blog, but I can’t remember, but nice pick up. So when do you think you will be out here in SD? We will be gone from August 10-18 on our own vacation, so keep that in mind. And it was good to see Mary finally checked on her blog, they sound like they are having fun. Tomorrow I head to LA to visit Mecca (Amoeba Records) and see Koufax later in the evening. I might stay up there a few days and stay with my friend Rob, but he has not gotten back to me so I’m not sure. Ryan, nice job on bloggin everyday, I’m proud of you. And I’m glad to hear everything went ok with the ultrasound. I wish I could play Catan too. Well, I’ll probably be our of commission blog wise for a bit, so I hope everyone has a great July 4th. I wonder if I could make it to Cornerstone by Friday night to see Prayer Chain? That would be sweet and stupid of me.

That’s an easy one Justin, classic Temple of the Dog. I had my class last night and it was rough. The teacher, who is very competent, is retired Navy and a bit of a goofball. Just a lot of “Yer gonna work your tail off in this class”. There is this British guy in the class, and he asks the teacher, in his thick British accent, “What does that mean? We are going to work our tails off, can you explain that please?”. Just awesome. I forgot how hard it is to sit through a three hour class. After my class I went by my friends Marni and Eddie’s new house, which was near where my class was. They had just bought a grill and Eddie BBQ’d some chicken and Carne Asada, so I got hooked up with some grub and good convo. Well, I heard from our house Agent this morning about the wall problem in our potential new place. The good news is that there is no mold growing in the walls, so that is very good. But there is not an exact explanation yet as to what caused the water stain and if it is still leaking. My agent did find out that the previous owners did have a fish tank that spilled on the wall, but that was 1 ½ years ago. The current theory is that the moisture was trapped in the wall and just kept seeping into the drywall. They are supposed to replace all the wet stuff. Our agent is getting a second opinion on the wall, then we will make a decision on proceeding with the purchase. At this moment, I still feel pretty good about the place. No mold is good. And the fish tank spill thing makes some sense to me. I’m going to go over and look at it myself, maybe tonight, if our agent can set it up. When I know, you’ll know. I feel like seeing T3 tonight, but not sure yet. We shall see.

I made it through my first weekend here without Tracey. She has made it safely back to Cinci for two weeks. I did a ton of little things this weekend. It was an amazing weekend weather wise, just super sunny and warm. I took Tracey to the airport at 5am Saturday then went back to bed till 2:45 in the afternoon. I got myself together and went down to OB. There was a street fair on Saturday and tons of people. I just went to look at all the freaks and carnis that were walking around, it was a crazy and fun scene. I then went and rented Road to Perdition and putzed around the house, cleaning stuff and then watching the movie. I had recorded Backdraft from tv and I watched that as well. I wanted to rent Dark Blue but it was not in. I also gave myself a hair cut. Sunday brought more sun and fun. After being awaken by a phone call from Rzippay at 11am requesting airport info on SD, I chilled a bit, then went outside and cleaned my Honda out of all the trash. I then went back to OB, washed my car and vacuumed it out then headed down to the beach for a bit. I called my grandpa and we had a fun chat. I’m trying to get him to come out here when the Del Mar Race Track is in session so we can bet on the horses like we did when we were kids. He said maybe someday he’ll come out. I love my gramps and I don’t ever want him to leave us. Tracey and I talk about maybe one day (but maybe never, so don’t get any ideas) ending up in Cleveland (so we can live next door to Tracey’s best friend Heidi). I could get season tickets to the Indians and be near gramps. We could fish on weekends and play cards during the week. It’s a small dream, cause I’m living my dream at the moment, how does that work? But Ctown may never happen if we get to work for Justy, which would more likely be on the Left Coast. Wow, too much thinking. This is what I do when Tracey is gone. Think. And think too much mostly. Let’s move on shall we?

This morning I mailed out a package for Justin. Really no reason for it, except there are some Travoltas cds in there for Larson (so you can finally be happy) and a picture cd to give to AStevens. There is also an MP3 cd in there for Justin and anyone else interested. There is a note in the box explaining everything. I threw in some Scantron swag for the fam. Enjoy, should be there next week. Tracey, I miss you and I sent the camera cord today as well, should be there in time for the party, I hope. Dad, that was quite a list of tunes on your blog, good tunes. I know those songs so well because of you, I feel like I grew up with them as well, even though I know it’s not the same as your experience. Hey Justin, Jmascis played some weird show here last night with a bunch of people I didn’t ever here of. I didn’t go cause I have to save money now cause of the condo thing, sorry. I start my first FrameMaker class tonight, which I’m not that excited about cause I gotta give up most of my night. I still need to see 28 Days Later. Has anyone seen that preview for Masked and Anonymous? It looks super strange but good. I tried to get these tickets for a free showing, but I didn’t get chosen. I did get two free tickets to OZ fest this Thursday, but I’m not going, why would I? I’m going to see Koufax in LA instead. Thursday afternoon I’m going to go to Hollywood and go to Amoeba music and play with fire. This place is so amazing. Oh, yeah, my company has given us Thursday off as well as Friday, so I have a three day week. Ok, I’m out.
