More Than A Porpoise, More Than A Man, A Manimal

I want a Porpoise who will laugh for no one else

2007, what is new this year? A new year, a new job, another birthday, another anniversary, a new nephew, a new parental house in BG, a new (70lbs lighter) father-in-law and hopefully (likely) a new National Championship for The OSU. Since this is the time of year to make lists, I will say this Christmas was a top three all time for me, and the best visit back home I’ve had since we moved to SD 4 1/3 years ago. I will now take some time to mention a few highlights for those who give a crap.

-Campus Pollyeyes breadsticks, Myles DQ blizzard (a mainstay highlight every year, sort of like how I have to put Digital Love by Daft Punk and at least one Weezer song on every party mix I ever do, it’s just a fact)
-1156 Dakota Court, the new house in BG was spacious and fun, with the Wii going 24/7 almost and a very comfortable guest bed.
-The “well rehearsed” xmas songs at church Christmas eve.
-My one and only Porpoise contact at church Christmas eve. Thanks for not calling at all Porpoise for New Years. You don’t read this anyway. You’re a bad son.
-Blood Diamond with the Edwards clan
-Mom’s lasagna
-Pacifico with Dad Edwards
-Morning Starbucks with Dad Edwards
-Watching Smile DVD with Dad Edwards
-Watching Dad Edwards open signed BW doll
-thanks to Al Gore, decent Ohio weather for our whole visit
-seeing our ten day old new nephew Joshua
-seeing Hannah and Caleb as well
-seeing Tracey’s more healthy looking and lighter Dad for the first time
-Guitar Hero II in BG
-Finally visiting Ryan and Michelle’s house in Lexington
-Getting to Sonic in Lexington
-Cheesy potato’s from Tracey’s mom for xmas dinner
-Not getting sick
-Not getting any flights cancelled
-Seeing the Cavs beat the Bucks
-Seeing Jimmy Jackson at Franklin Park Mall
-Skyline coney’s in cinci
-Getting to see Gramps again at Bob Evans in Mentor
-New Years in Cleveland
-Ken and Heidi’s reaction to our gifts

There were many more, but that’s what I got right now. Might get some of my 2006 lists up tomorrow. Heading out now to celebrate 9 years of marriage. How did that happen? I’m very blessed. Happy New Year.
