Just finishing up this great pre-valentines day valentines day day Tracey and I had. Tracey told me she had some surprises for me this weekend, and eventually told me they were all on today. She did not have work today. The day started out with me waking at noon, eating and then Tracey saying we needed to go somewhere. So we got in the car and there was a present wrapped on the car seat that looked like a cd. So I opened it and it was the new strokes cd, except we already own. I open the cd case (it was actually our copy) and there was some cash in it. Tracey was taking us to buy tickets to see them next month. We had debated about wanted to go, but knowing we didn't really have the cash for it, but Tracey said she had some left over xmas cash that she wanted to use for the show. So great start to the day. We then went to Hodad's for lunch, we hadn't been there forever, it was great as usual. We next headed to blockbuster and rented Intolerable Cruelty. It was entertaining and fun, but I was waiting for it to be better than it really was, we were both expecting better. We then relaxed, I watched the NBA rookie challenge and then Tracey made us an unbelievable dinner. Steak, chessy potatos, fruit salad, and green salad. We stuffed ourselves fully. Later on we had some great desert Tracey had made, some kind of cake and pudding mix thing that was crazy good. A good night.

Still no word on the new interview I mentioned the other day, I guess next week. I shamefully downloaded that new Modest Mouse song Float On and it does indeed rock. We're hoping that I have a job soon so that we can afford to go to the Coachella Music fest near Palm Springs in May. Mainly I want to see Pixes reunion show. But there are many other great bands playing, Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Ash, Belle and Sebastian, the Cure and many others. It's two days, 75 bucks each day, so pricey, but worth it. I'd almost pay that much just to see the Flaming Lips again, let alone the other bands. I got out yesterday and surfed for a few hours in OB. It was prolly my best session yet since I started. The waves were pretty small and easy to catch. Good times. For some reason being jobless in SD is easier to handle than the times I was jobless in Ohio, not sure why that is. In either case, happy VDay, for what it's worth.

Some almost good news. I may have another interview, I'll know in a few days. I went to an allergist today to see what Im allergic too. Now at least I know why I feel like crap a lot of the time and I can do a few things about it. I watched a solid Cavs victory the other night. We watched the Grammys on Sunday, mostly boring. Not much else to say or that I care to say right now.
