Hello, I want to thank Jay for linking my site on his journal page. Its funny though because I have only told two people about this site thus far, so maybe Jay's link will help get the word out a bit more. And Harr needs to email soon, quit slacking and buy a freakin desk. My parents are flying in to San Diego today and I'm pretty excited. I'm taking friday off from work to show them around MY great town. Anybody who wants to come visit me out here is more than welcome, just let me know and I will pencil you into my busy schedule. Its like a hotel at my apartment. My parents this weekend. My brother Justin in two weeks. Jay in a month, then my brother in law and his wife the week after Jay, plus several out of town trips for myself and Tracey. We are going to Vegas for Thanksgiving for a white trash Thanksgiving. My sis and her thick husband and the rest of my family are also coming. In Oct were flying back to Cincinatti for a family reunion with Tracey's family. Oh yeah, Jay and I are going to vegas as well when he gets his arse out here, and that will be an epic run for sure. So, as you can see, very busy. Anyway, I'm gonna get back to work and listen to some U2 Zooropa. "She wore Lemon"

whats up all, its been really foggy here in SD the last few days. Late at night if we open our window we actually have fog flow into our apartment, pretty weird. I am getting excited for Red Dragon to come out in two weeks. This movie should be epic. Its the prequel to Silence of the Lams. Its going to be disgusting and funny, I can't wait. On Sunday I bought the special edition DVD's of Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, both very good movies, and today the new special edition DVD of Swingers comes out, so I might swing over to Best Buy and pick that up. For those who even give a crap, here is a partial list of some of the music I have recently been enjoying, I get to listen to my IPOD at work all day, so I load it up and rock out while I work:
New Found Glory-Sticks and Stones-great punk rock,
Alkaline Trio-all of their stuff, one of my favorite bands of all time,
Andrew WK-I know, cheese, but for some reason his album really pumps me up,
Spirtualized-Prog rock from England, I don't usually get into this type of music, but I have to give credit to Matt Frantz for this one,
Spart-Wiretap Scars-3/5 or At the Drive In a former great band, good music with some screaming,
Superdrag-Last Call for Vitriol-their new album, just good rock melodies, thanks to my Dad for getting this for me,
Tenacious D-Oh yeah, crude, but funny,
The Dillinger Escape Plan-hard core, which I don't really listen to much anymore, but these guys are really good,
Coldplay-A rush of blood to the head-awsome, slow, moving brit rock, get this!,
Convoy-My current favorite band, from San Diego, just straight ahead laid back, SoCal, groove rock, check them out,
The Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Robot-these dudes are amazing and inventive, hard to get into at first, but I love all of their stuff,
Midtown-Living well is the best revenge-I love this band, emo rock, thanks to El Brundage for the hook up here,
And Weezer, Poole and Blink are always getting into the rotation.
Have a great day, I am.

Yo, most of you already know this, but recently my wife Tracey and I moved to San Diego, California from Bowing Green, Ohio. Let me just say that this was the third best decision of my life, behind becoming a Christian and getting married. We have loved life here and are very happy. I did not have a job when I moved out here, but within 5 days of getting here in SD, I found a job and was working imediately, very cool. I do technical writing work for the software division of a company called Scantron. Some of you may know Scantron as the company that makes those bubble sheets used to take tests, I know, not a found memory. But my job is cool and the people I work with are also cool. I usually work between 9 and 11 hours a day, but I love it, so its not big deal. For those of you who know me, this is a shocker, since I am kinda lazy at times and like to sleep a lot. I guess it just goes to show you that when you really like someting, you will give up other important things, like sleep. But cmon, this is sunny SoCal, no time for sleep, just fun n sun and work. I'm waiting a few more weeks to save some cash, but I do plan on getting a surf board soon so I can become a true Californian. Although the water is getting colder by the day, so I also need a wetsuit. Anyway, thats all I got for now.
Good morning. I want to first thank my friend Joel for inspiring me to start this journal. He just recently started bloggin, and I thought, hey, this is free, and I don't have to do any work, so I will try it. Also, I would feel guilty if I did not also mention my other friend Jay, who has been maintaining a web journal of his own for quite some time now, which I always thought was funny. Therefore, because of my two friends, I have decided to cloud cyber space with my own thoughts that nobody cares about. But there is a certain amount of thearapy involved with just writing out your thoughts. This is all I want to say for now because I am supposed to be working. Late.
