Happy birthday Mom! We'll call later today. Remember when certain Edwards members would spit on the carpet of our house and just rub it in with their feet? Going to the Padres home opener tonight. And we also have tickets from my boss for tomorrow night. I'm going to temporarily be working onsite at HP for a month or two to fill in on a project. Gotta run. What a weekend. UNC. U2. All amazing. The show was worth every penny. My only disappointment was not getting to hear With or Without you, my fav U2 song. Where the streets have no name was probably the highlight for me. Very moving and they had a cool light display thing that showed a ton of different country's flags. As Tracey mentioned, we got a hotel up near the venue, next to Disney. We relaxed by the pool for a bit, then I watched the final 4 before the show. Our seats were amazing. They were behind the stage, but if you look at the photo above (we are not actually in the above photo, but it's from the show we went to), we were in the second row, right behind the stage, but left of the drums. The band, mostly Bono, would come behind and sing to us. When they did that, they were like 25 ft from us. It was fun to do. I really want to see them again. When we got back yesterday we went to the beach for a bit. I missed blogging a bunch of stuff from the last week, and now I can't remember any of it. Sorry. New Hot Hot Heat comes out tomorrow.
