More Than A Porpoise, More Than A Man, A Manimal

I want a Porpoise who will laugh for no one else

I suppose I should blog. It's been awhile I guess. Has anyone seen that Wonder Showzen show on MTV? Super messed up, and weirdly funny, but in many disturbing ways. I'm finishing up my first week of working onsite @ HP. Nothing really to report. My new co-workers are all mostly cool and helpful. Lot's of set up time, getting my new laptop set up and I had two days of software training for some new stuff I'll be working on. It's a shorter drive for me, which is good, but I was pretty comfortable in the position I was in. Not sure how long I'll have to be where I am now, but probably through the summer at least.

Last weekend I rode in a bike race with Tracey and Mary. 21 miles in the mountains, lots of uphill stuff. It was actually a lot of fun and we did really well, we finished, which I think was an accomplishment for our lack of real training for it. Tracey talked me into doing another race in Santa Cruz next month, but that one is 62 miles, so we're going to have to train a little better for that one.

I have never eaten at Red Robin until the last two weeks. I've eaten there twice now and I'm going again today. I like it, especially the bottomless fries. Not sure why that is relevant to anything. I went and saw Sin City last week by myself. I really really liked it and think I liked it better than the Kill Bills. There were a lot of disturbing images though, good action throughout.

We had Michelle and my little niece Hannah out here for a week. Hannah is super fun and I even did some baby sitting a few nights and we had a nice time, except for the diaper changing part. Our old friends Kelly and Spivey are out here this weekend. Spivey and I played bball for 3 hours last night. Not sure what the rest of the weekend plans are. In two weekends I'm going to a conference in Seattle for tech writing. I'm going with 3 of my co-workers and I'm the only guy going, so I get my own room. My company is paying for the whole thing, bonus for me.

My friend Eddie scored 4 tickets to U2 in Vegas in November and we're getting two of the tickets. The show is on a Saturday, which is clutch. It will be a nice little Saturday for us. Oh, the Cavs suck, the Indians suck and I'm severely depressed about it. Back to real life.
