More Than A Porpoise, More Than A Man, A Manimal

I want a Porpoise who will laugh for no one else

Gotta love the Fridays. Glad to hear about Justin doing ok. The other things going on there with the high school are sad. Reminds me of a few similar tragedies that occurred while I was in HS at BGHS. Yer awsome for doing what yer doing Justin.

Excited to see the first place Padres tonight. They are playing the Mets, who have Piazza, who’s on my fantasy team, and who needs to sac up and get some hits. Dad, don’t forget to give Larson those mags I sent back with you from Chow. I need to work for myself, I’ve decided. Man, hurry up brain and think of something cool to do and/or invent.

I’ll leave you with this deep and wise statement from the iPOD user guide:
“Be careful not to drop your iPod when playing or transporting the device.”

“My Dad has a Tagmemic Discourse Theory, does yours?”

Tomorrow night we are going to the Padres game with friends. Saturday we may go to Hollywood to see Lassie Foundation do a free acoustic show. My fantasy baseball team sucks. There is really nothing else to say right now.

I’m rockin the Shins with one hour of work left. I started work today at 6am because I have another dentist appointment at 3pm in OB. But I dare not complain about a measly dentist appointment compared to what Justin is dealing with. I’ve been depressed since I read Justin’s blog yesterday (and watching two episodes of Sopranos didn’t help). Today I have resolved to follow my mom’s advice and not worry till there is actually something to worry about. We surely will be praying for you Justin.

As Tracey mentioned, we had a Martini party at our place on Saturday and had a solid time. I haven’t played basketball for over 6 weeks now. I’ve been “rehabbing” my knee by doing certain weight training and stretching everyday. I’m at a point where I can walk normally without pain or limping, but I know it’s still not healed completely. I actually ran for the first time last week on a treadmill since I started this whole process. I only ran for 10 minutes, but I almost threw up and I got all shaky. Tracey said that’s what happens when you don’t run for a long time. It’s frustrating either way, but I’m glad to be making some progress at least. The Flaming Lips are on Jimmy Kimmel on Friday, check em. Late
