Ah, the rejection continues and it feels so good. Got the phone call this morning I was waiting for all week from this job I was hoping to get. Regretfully, they did not go with my services. They said I was a top candidate, which is cool, and talented, but were sorry. This job would have been pretty cool, but this rejection just means I will get an even better job down the road, eh? Tracey and I were looking forward to going out tonight to celebrate, but just as well, I'll stay in and watch Lebron tonight instead. I finally got my new amp yesterday so that is a nice distraction, it's small but very cool and does the trick. I also went to a doctor this week to get my bum knee checked out. The doc said I have inflamation under my knee cap and gave me some drugs and told me to work out my quad muscles more at the gym. The drugs have helped in reducing my pain, but I'm hoping for a permanant solution, not just some drugs, we'll see. Did anyone see Coheed on Jimmy Kimmel last night? As for oscar noms, I'm very excited for City of God, can't believe it got 4 noms, I agree with most of Justin's thoughts about who will actually win and who should. And Justin, I meant to tell you about all those BF eps that he did recently, but you figured it out. When I have money again, I'll definitely want to pick those up. We're going to our friend's place, Eddie and Marni, for the boringbowl on Sunday. It'll prolly be a 9 to 6 type of game. Well, I'm going to go look for some more jobs. Have a good weekend everyone.

What a nice and pleasant weekend. Saturday night was pretty epic. My friend Eddie came over, then we headed out to Hemingways to start the night off. We had good convo, a Sonics game to watch (Eddie's from Seattle, so this was nice for him), good drinks and cigars. From there we headed to see Coheed and Cambria. I have to say, I was very impressed and energized. If you have heard them before, you know their songs are long and all over the place, lot's of solos and crazy break downs. As far as I could tell, they played every note, every solo and every drum beat the same as it is on the record. I love to go to a show of a band I love and hear everything I hear on the record, it makes it a complete experience and makes it worth my money. They were just crazy good and super tight. No gimicks or stage crap, just pure rock and metal the ghost of Rush flowin all over the place. The crowd was mostly the typical young emo crowd, but they seemed there cause they were really into the songs and the epicness of the situation, so not too many annoying teenagers being stupid. Sunday I chilled mostly, except for a great work out at the gym. I watched the Golden Globes with Tracey which was mostly entertaining. I want to thank Jim Carey for bringing up a good point, why wasn't Elf nominated? And Bend it Like Beckham got nominated for a comedy? Don't think so. I was happy for the wins for Lost in Translation. Sofia Copala is an awkward teenager, well, that's how she looks. I got to talk to my Dad about his great trip to Florida. This week I hope to apply for some more jobs, and maybe get a job, depending on how my interview went last week. Well, I'm going to go learn a Travoltas song.
