Hey peeps, a good Friday to you and your kin. I am hoping that my surfboard search goes well this weekend. Tracey and I are also going hiking on Saturday, should be interesting. On Wednesday I went and saw the movie Narc. Very good and raw. Both Ray Liato and Jason Patrick were amazing, and the ending was messed up, don’t take your girlfriend to see it, but go see it. The owner of our apartment complex had his car stolen last night, and in his car was all the sets of spare keys for our apartment complex. They are getting all the locks changed today, kinda funny. Not much else going on. Have a good weekend. Mary we will call you this weekend and discuss possible plans.

Not much to say today. I played basketball yesterday and ripped a bunch of skin off my foot because of blisters. Then I got home and felt sick, ate with Tracey then went to bed at 7:30 at night and slept through the night till 7:30am this morning, so I feel pretty weird today. Have a good day.

Mary-I got your one package, the Endless Summer DVD, thanks a ton, that's really cool of you, and I can't wait for my other package

I forgot to mention that Torgo is now representing on my computer. I feel very tired today. I came into work pretty locked into a particular project, but I got pulled off for an emergency fix on another document. Pretty boring info for you, but I hate having my flow interrupted, slows me down at work, which makes work go slower. I am listening to my Brian Wilson Pet Sounds Live CD that my rents got me for Christmas, so it is helping me get through the day. It is the greatest pop record ever made. Someday I need to get the Pet Sounds box set, 4 cd’s of pure genius.

Last night I went to a free show at a venue called the Casbah, near little Italy downtown SD. The venue was basically like Frankies in Toledo, but about twice the size. And they had a classic video game arcade, including Galaga and Ms PacMan, so that was really cool. There were three bands playing, all local. The main band that I went to see was called the Displaced. They kinda sound like the White Stripes, but not really. It’s hard to describe them. There is a girl bass player in the band and she is from Toledo. I know this because they have a song called Toledo. I emailed them to ask them about the song and the chica told me she grew up in Toledo, so there you have it. They were pretty good live, but I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it. If your interest are peaked, you can check them out at www.thedisplaced.com. You can download the Toledo song there as well. Tracey did not want to go, and she would not have liked the music anyway, so I went alone. As I have mentioned before, I miss going to shows with people, something that was always available back in OhSoHio. Tracey and I just don’t like enough of the same bands, which is fine. But I need some help out here. I think someone should move out here just to go to shows with me, that sounds like a good enough reason, don’t you think? It’s Tuesday, which means I play bball today, although I probably shouldn’t because I’m still pretty sore from the long bike ride on Sunday, but got to work down the gut. I think I gained ten pounds over Christmas, ima pig. Godspeed to my parents as they fly.

Everyone pray for my parents, they are going to Tanzinia, Africa this week for three weeks. God please bring them home safely.

Tracey and I had a good weekend. Friday night we went out with some new friends, well kinda new. I work with the girl named Marni, and her husband is really cool. He is half Australian and half Columbian, quite a cool mix. But we had a great time out on the town with them. Saturday Tracey and I went out looking for a surfboard and wet suits. We didn’t find anything we wanted to get so the search continues on next weekend. Then on Sunday we took a long bike ride down to Sea Port Village. About a ten mile ride all together. I am a little sore today, as you can imagine. There are about 7 concerts that I want to go to in the next 3 weeks, so I’m pretty excited, although I will not be able to go to them all. Later…

Mike-sorry about the Jets, and you still need to burn me a copy of all those NES games so I can buy a dreamcast. Hope you can come out here over spring break, it will be fun. Maybe I can find some snorkeling for you to do :)
Mary-Thanks for the Crime dog joke, funny. We were thinking about coming to see ya this weekend, but Joel might be coming to see us and it looks like your snowshoeing anyway.
Mom and Dad-be safe and come home
