We just had one of the most productive weekends ever. We have a pretty full plate of activities and chores to do before we leave for our big trip across the pond. We got tons of cleaning done, including a much needed and overdue garage clean out and Goodwill run. We also spent quality time with friends, including a quick dinner with Larson and wife. Sunday was a quality day of not much of nothing. Six hours on the beach, with lot’s of catch up reading accomplished. This included reading the new Rolling Stone, which contained a disturbing article about how Bush allegedly stole the 2004 election. The article sheds a lot of light on what might have happened in Ohio. It’s an interesting read regardless of your political affiliations. I do remember that election day, when early reports had Kerry up pretty big, and then by the end of the night, Bush had won. Read it.

We still have plenty of things to accomplish in the next two weeks for the trip. My brother Mike comes into town on Sunday. I get to have 3 fillings done this week and another appointment to repair an infected root canal. It does not sound as bad as you think. I’ve got 3 more SD basketball rec league games before I go and I’m still hoping I don’t get seriously injured in any way. I have only one more episode of Deadwood season 2 to watch. It’s been pretty amazing. And I forgot to tell Justin that I saw Brick for free a few months ago, I couldn’t remember if I told you. It was entertaining and well written. Definitely try to see it. I’m going to try and see the Proposition this week if I can. I keep forgetting to download your new podcast.
