First off, just want to say hello to Connie (one of the English Dept secretaries at BGSU) in BG. My Dad said your actually reading this. Hope your doing well. I know things are starting to get crazy there with GSW. Sorry you got snow. We are having unseasonably warm weather here. Somehow I will make it through.

Your right Dad, it is weird when all the sports are over at 7pm. Last night I just fell asleep after the Miami game. We don't have a large weekend planned. Got OSU/Michigan game tomorrow, and Pedro the Lion and Starflyer are playing in SD Saturday night, we might go to that.

Mike, there was a Metroid Prime commercial before Punch Drunk Love and it looked awsome. I'm gonna devote some quality time to that when we come back for Christmas. I have to say Justin, the new Bond looks pretty good, at least action wise. But I'm getting real sick of Hale Barry. She is getting annoying.

Today my company catered a Thanksgiving feast for us at lunch. It was really good. And free. Been getting alot of Foosball done at work lately. Thats it for now. Everyone have a good weekend.

Ok, most of you will not even understand this, but right now I need Brian Fry, Vic, Kirker, Shaffer, Matt Barnes, Bucky, the guy who introduced Lars and me to GnR at Camp Cherath(SP?) in 8th grade, Steve Miller, Whaley, Mark Garipy, Brad Gibson, Ryan Shneider, Meaux, P. Grandsko, Vancotts, Rumshlog, Razor, Jake N., Window, Chad something, the guy who offered a hot dog to a guy's leg, which was in a cast at an OSU football game (Lars knows this dude), El Branco, Donkey Boy and Genereation Jesus boy in the same room. I think that would be funny. If this is on here twice, sorry, blogger is being stupid.

Its 81 degrees and sunny out today, I can see the Ocean from my office, and I rode a skateboard to work (after a 15 minute bus ride). To say I am feeling good and having a good day would be quite the understatement. This is just sick. I love summer, especially here in SD, but there is something that much more satisfying about 80 degree weather a week before Thanksgiving. Its going to feel even better when I know its snowing in Ohio and I am wearing shorts and flip flops.

Yesterday I went to see 8 mile with some people from work. I liked it, and it was actually pretty funny, even though it was a pretty serious movie. Saw a preview for the new Spacey movie, The Life of David Gale and it looks really good. I hurt my ankle playing bball Tuesday, so that sucks, gonna have to chill for awhile. Looking forward to Ohio State/MI on Saturday, except it comes on at 9am here, so that sucks. But my Generation Jesus friend Sam just got a 42 inch TV, so we are hooking the game up there. Next week we are Tracey and I are hitting Vegas for Thanksgiving with my sis and her husband. Unfortunately, I have been told that is the number 1 thanksgiving destination for SoCals, so the traffic will be bad and the place will be packed. Tonight is a good sports night. Got Miami v. Pitt and the Mavs and Rockets, both stating at 4:30pm here. Its cool to come home from work and have games on right away. I feel like more has happened, but I can’t think right now. Have a good day.

Browns, Jets, Colts, Giants and Chargers won yesterday, so it was a good day in Edwardsville. And Mike and Dad went to the Jets/Lions game, that’s cool. It was a very nice weekend here in sunny SD. Friday night we went to see Punch Drunk Love with Ryan and Michele. It was pretty good, but not 9$ good, which is what we had to pay for it. As soon as the movie was over, this chick behind me said it was the worst movie she had ever seen. I was going to confront her with my new found powers of confrontation, but I let it go, idiot. Then we went out to eat at the Field and stuffed ourselves with good Irish food, although I had a burger and fries, not very Irish. Then somehow Ryan and I convinced the ladies to let us go to a cool cigar bar downtown called the Cuban Cigar Factory. They have real Cuban dudes (who I guess defected) rolling cigars in the shop. One of the rollers actually hung out with me and Ryan for a few and called me a connoisseur cigar smoker because I knew how to toast my cigar before smoking. I think I am complete now, a Cuban cigar roller called me a connoisseur, what else is there?

Ryan and Michele flew out Saturday afternoon. And Saturday was Tracey’s birthday, so we went out to eat at a Fondue place then rented Y Tu Mama Tambien, a funny Mexican movie, although sad in a way. I would rent it, but don’t watch it with your kids. Sunday was spent being lazy, watching football and messing with my new work computer that was not being nice to me. I also got to actually speak with Larson on the phone, I thought he didn’t like me anymore. But it was good to chat and to make plans for Christmas break. There is going to be too much to do and not enough time unfortunately. Family to hang with, movies to see, friends to see, Trotters to eat, bread sticks to get and at least 2 blizzards per day from DQ. I also want to play some ball at the BGSU rec center, I miss that place and always felt I played the best there, although old man’s gym is pretty close to that, for those of you who know of the that epic place of great childhood memories and honing bball skills with the locals. Lars, remember when we would practice alleyoops? We were so filled with hoop dreams in those days, only to be crushed by Snyder. But no regrets, I wouldn’t trade those days for anything in the world. Those were pure days of youthful fun and expression. I’m glad I got to share those with you. Now, if you could only find a good woman who is not insane, and move to Cali, we can continue good memories and teach our kids to surf together. What do ya say?
