Good news people. I got a job. The crazy interview I did yesterday, well, those people called today and want to make it happen. Weirdly enough, I got two other calls today from companies that want to meet with me. I going to go ahead and do those other interviews, just in case, you never know. I'm pretty excited and feel blessed to have this happen. Thank you Jesus.

This has been quite a messed up day. I unwisely scheduled my first dentist appointment in over two years and my interview on the same day, today. First off, the dentist, or the butcher as I call him today. I got demolished at the dentist. Apparently I'm not flossing correctly cause my gums are messed up. The apointment was at 8:15am, and I went to bed somewhere north of 3am, so not good. So I'm dead tired, in pain but in good spirits for my 1pm interview. My phone interview the other week went well and the lady I talked to was cool, so I was not anxious at all. I get to the interview, and the building is this awsome, mostly glass structure overlooking mountains in La Lolla, so good vibes right off the bat. I meet with the lady, and things go well. She ask's me questions, I answer, she responds in approval, I'm feeling good. Turns out the company has a gym on the grounds, and an outdoor bball court where dudes play at lunch, super cool. Then the lady drops a bit of a bomb on me, I have to interview with three other people after her, she forgot to mention that to me. In my head I'm freakin out, I was thinking we were done, my gums are killing me and that I'm heading home now for a long nap, but to no avail. I tell her no worries, I can deal. I procede to meet with two scientist (Did I mention this company develops genomics research tools and software, yeah, smart stuff) and a product manager/finance dude. These additional meetings go pretty well, the second scientist actually graduated from Ohio University, so we have a MAC connection and discuss that for a bit, good guy. By the time the last dude was done grillin me, it was after 4pm, I was beat. What was also slightly annoying was that all 4 people I talked to had the same interview sheet with the same questions, so I repeated myself a lot. Would have been a lot easier for all of them to interview me at once, but whatever. In the end, I thought it went well and everyone seemed positive on me. And they did mention they were meeting with a few more people, so I guess I wasn't the only one they brought in for an interview, but it's all good. I still feel good about it. I'll let you know.

Tracey just made me a great dinner of pasta and also some cheese fondu, I'm feeling stuffed and good. As for the Oscars, happy for LOTR, sucked that City of God missed out, and I can't stand Rene Zellweger, she just annoys me and I couldn't stand that she won something, just go away. Ok, I'm off to watch Texas/OSU.
