I just ate some eggs, a mountain dew and a donut and I feel good.
Finally, I watch Lebron on tv and the Cavs win. Congrats to Justin for getting Pettite, that’s a huge pick up for the Stros. Today was a very relaxing and refreshing day. Yesterday I had played bball in both OB and LaJolla and ran myself super tired, so I decided that I would sleep in today and just relax, which I did. A storm rolled through SD last night, so the news was reporting 6-12 ft waves, so this afternoon I went downtown OB to check the waves, they were not as big as I had hoped, but I guess the big ones were hitting in the morning, not the afternoon. Either way, I pick up some free reading material and hit starbucks, who screwed up my order and gave me a hot chocolate instead of my usual chai, so they made the chai and let me keep the coco as well, advantage Edwards. I had brought my IPOD and just relaxed, read, and watched people go by and contemplated my future. I listened to some Supertramp, then switched over to some Postal Service, which is getting close to being my favorite release of this year, which reminds me, I’ve got to get working on my year in review, and ranking my top ten movies and music releases of 2003. My early fav for movie is City of God, but I must say that Honey is a close second, as well as Gigli, it’s a tough battle in my mind. I found several solid jobs today that I applied for, so that was good. Our good friends Chelsea and Connel called us tonight. They are some of the best people we’ve ever known, and it was good to catch up. They’re from the Toledo area, but got sweet jobs in Manhattan, but for some reason decided to move back to Toledo recently, but that’s ok. They were hanging out with Marshall, ah, good ole Marshall, he should be mayor of BG, or Al Caperna, either way. I finished watching Adaptation today. I didn’t like that much the first time, and even less the second, although it has some great funny parts. We have a light weekend planned, just chillin, and getting ready for Christmas. And be happy, it’s Friday.

Dear Mr. Holcomb, can I ask where your brain is? Our defense does not give up a touchdown, yet you give them two? I know it doesn't matter cause the Browns season has been basically over for awhile, but a little love on a Monday night, is that too much to ask? Whatever. It's been a couple of productive days for me, as a maid. I cleaned out our garage and re-organized it, now I have more room to park in there. I sprayed down our upstairs porch from all the ash and threw out a bunch of old, heavy plants left by the previous owners. I worked out today then took a nice, relaxing break/walk downtown OB with some Chai and the paper. I hope Texas wins tonight for Justin. And I'm stoked on you and Merrit back in action again. I still yell out his name randomly here in SD to keep the hope alive. Inspiring words on dreams and hopes, keep it up. Last night Tracey and I watched a bit of the Two Towers to get a refresher for the last one. I've been watching the extra features on that Pumping Iron documentary with Arnold. Say what you want about him, I like him, maybe not as my governor, but I respect him for making his dreams come true, as I would anyone. I have a soft spot for him cause I grew up watching all his movies. I'm listening to Pinback again today, good stuff. Talk to you soon.

Ah, Sunday morning, Christy's doughnuts, and the big Sunday edition of the paper, with all day to watch football and relax. It's almost as if I worked hard all last week and need a relaxing weekend to recover. Hey! Everyone needs to relax on Sunday, no matter your station in life, if God rested on the seventh day, so should I. Anyways, I'm currently rockin good to Van Halen's 1984 which I got from the library, you can't deny the pure power of Panama! Last night we had a good time at a birthday party, eating good food, watching K-State kick butt and playing cards and other games. I'm glad K-State won, but if we ever needed more proof that the BCS is BS, I think this year proves it. Give us a freakin playoff! The division 3 schools do a playoff system and those students seem to do fine with their studies. I borrowed that documentary Pumping Iron from a friend of mine and it's amazing. Arnold is hilarious and huge, good entertainment. Well, now that I know who is playing who in the BCS games, once again I'll be on a plane flying home from Ohio when OSU is playing their bowl game, I just can't get a break. As you can imagine, the SoCals are freakin out out here because of USC's slight, it's that east coast bias I guess. I will say I had to laugh seeing the nice snow storm that hit the east coast the past few days, but just so you know I wasn't completely in heaven, it did rain all day today and I havn't seen the sun in two days, can you imagine? That reminds me, the other night Tracey and I were watching the news, and they ran a promo for their morning edition news show, and the big feature was how to prepare your car for winter. Winter? In SD? Their is no preparation you idiots. It rains like three times during the winter and that's it. SoCal is funny that way sometimes, just pure idiocy. Well, I'm gonna get back to watching Vick run past everyone.
