Wish I had more time to write, but I don’t. Putting in a ten to twelver tonight at work.

Mary, that stinks about possibly losing your position(s). I have read some stuff on Gray Davis and he sucks. I can’t believe this dumb state re-elected him, unbelievable. If things get crazy, you can live with us for awhile.

Mike-I guess your not coming here of spring break?

Justin-I don’t think Lassie F has played live for a long time. Have fun at all those shows coming up, I’m gonna get to that Bettie show for sure

It’s been a few days since we last talked. I thought I would write something before I transgressed against others as they have transgressed against me with un-updated blogs. Lets go back to last Thursday. Went to the Jualana Theory and Something Corporate show. Very weird time for me. First time I saw JT there were 15 people at Frankies in Toledo. This time there were probably 3000 peeps in the b-ball arena of UCSD. They do put on a good show, but not my favorite way to see them. Moving on the Something Corporate, this was a different story. They are basically a punk/emo band with a piano, a real piano, not a keyboard. The lead singer plays piano and he is pretty good and they really rocked out. But the best part of their show was the opening. There were two huge projection screens hanging from the ceiling. Out of nowhere the Big Lebowski comes on the screen. It’s the scene where they are bowling and Jesus comes by and tells them that nobody *&^%’s with the Jesus. I have never ever seen a better opening to a show, epic.

This weekend was pretty low key. Went out Friday for dinner with some work friends. Saturday b-balled in LaJolla and went to an Ok place to eat downtown on Saturday night. Sunday I had to work a half day. I wanted to go surfing, but I banged my knee up playing b-ball and needed to rest it, I know, weak. Waves were not that good this weekend anyway. I’m working way too much and I am already burned out, but it will be this way for another month, so not much blog’n for me. I do want to get out and see Pool Hall Junkies with Walken in it. We watched Blast From the Past last night on tv, Walken is great no matter how bad the movie is, love that guy.
