My favorite new song is “I Want Burns” by Reeve Oliver. They’re a local SD band and have a guy in the band that used to be in Dogwood. Great song.

So, I turn 30 tomorrow. As I think I mentioned in prior post, I wanted to surf, but we’re having the “Storm of the Century” here, so no bueno for surf. Also, and this is a direct quote from an environmentalist in the paper, “chocolate brown raw sewage” is overflowing from Tijuana into the ocean, contaminated water up and down the SD coastline, another solid reason to not go in the water. I don’t really have any compelling thoughts about turning 30, at least not today. I still gotta do my YIR and stuff, so one thing at a time.

My co-workers learned of my hatred of Celine Dion and plastered my cube with her pictures while I was back in OH. A lovely sight to come back to work to. I started getting sick yesterday and came home early and slept all night. I missed the BCS game, but obviously didn’t miss much of a game. I’m feeling a bit better today and really have nothing else to write. Brian Wilson is on Leno tonight though.

“Back to Life, Back to Reality”

Welcome to 2005. Today is my 7year anniversary. Lucky 7 I guess. Every year gets better and more fun. I highly recommend finding a great wife and making a great life, it’s easy, isn’t it? The holidays are over, but I still got my 30th bday this weekend so the celebration continues for me. I’m very happy to be back home (even if we’re having monsoon rain like conditions today). I absolutely hate flying over the holidays and wish there was an easier way. Despite this, I had a very pleasant time back in OH. I slept most of this weekend away recovering from the travel and the holidays. Tracey and I did get out for a nice bike ride to Sunset Cliffs yesterday. We also watched SpiderMan 2, which was sorta boring. I’m a little late on my YIR and my top ten lists, but they will eventually show up. Latre.
