Listen, we went big last night and drove to Hollywood to see SF59 w/ Larson and all our other LA crew/friends. Super tired, but worth every second of missed sleep. On to Street Scene tonight. Priorities for tonight's lineup: Killers, Flogging Molly, White Stripes, Autolux, Kasabian, Louis XIV and Hot Hot Heat. Tomorrow night brings: Pixies, Flaming Lips, Death Cab, The Locust and Snoop Dog! I'm off to thousands of sweaty people bumping into me.

Sunday night my friend Marcus got Tracey and I free tickets and backstage passes for the Kings of Leon show. I'm not a huge fan of the Kings, but I like them, and they put on a good show. Tracey was super tired after the show so she went home, but I stayed with Marcus and his wife and we hung out with the drummer on their tour bus for a bit, super cool. Marcus went to church camp with the guys in the band when he was young and is still in contact with them, so that's where the hook up came from. It was fun to walk up to big bouncer guys and show my pass, then have them escort us back to the private areas while wannabes watched and wished, suckas. Besides shaking Bruce Willis's hand at a political rally in high school and seeing Hulk Hogan in Santa Monica, it was my greatest run-in w/ famous type people.
