Just got done with an intense game of foosball, but I lost. It’s party time this weekend for Tracey and I. Got a Christmas in July party tonight, and beach BBQ all day tomorrow. And if the weather is nice, we’ll be on the beach Sunday as well. We watched Spy Kids 2 the other night so we would be caught up and be able to see the 3rd one in 3D. I also would like to see Seabiscuit. The work being done on our possible condo is supposed to be done today. Our agent is going to go over and check it out tonight and let us know. Things look good so far, we just have to re-set our closing date. We are very excited. It was good talk with Mare last night, although I’m jealous of the breadsticks.

Dad, let us know as soon as you can on Labor Day weekend. I think I mentioned before that Heidi and Ken might want to come that weekend if it’s free. Whatever you guys want to do is cool.

Happy Birthday MARY!!!!!! Happy 26th!!!We can't wait to celebrate with you hopefully next month. Justin, we're super bumbed that you can't make it out for LF, but look forward to Labor Day weekend. I talked to Brundage today and he was also bumbed, he said he's been working 7 days a week lately and does not do anything. Speaking of Labor Day Weekend, I blew it. Tracey pointed out to me last night that the Padres are actually in Houston that weekend, and then Houston comes to SD the following weekend. This whole time I thought we'd be getting to see the Stros together all weekend, I'm sorry. If you guys want to cancel the trip, I understand. We watched Robert Rodriguez on Kilborn last night, he's pretty funny. I also saw the Once Upon a Time in Mexico trailer on the Apple page, and it looks amazing. We're also pretty excited about Spy Kids 3D. I've also been enjoying Brad and Ben's new blogs.

Last nights show with Reggie was just rock. So fun and energetic. I enjoyed all four bands last night, Midtown, Static Lullaby and Motion City Soundtrack also played. The singer for MCS had a very cool tshirt on. It was like skull and cross bones pirate thing, but instead of a skull, it had the Apple symbol with the cross bones, very cool. Once again I went to the show alone, which can have it's own strange consequences. If you are with me in person, I'll tell you about it someday. Tracey and I had a funny, weird day dealing with strangers, but can't discuss on a blog.

Hey Emily, did you happen to get me a tshirt from the Lebowski fest? I read a review of it on the Yahoo movies page, looked very fun. They had over a thousand people? That's crazy. Just shows how great that movie is. Well, guess who came back to visit us today? The Sun. Just talked to Tracey, she was putting on sun tan lotion and was heading out for some rays. You too can have that. Just become a teacher and move to SD, it's so easy. Hey Justin, were there any Franzt sightings at the Merrit wedding thing? We were telling some friends the other day about Matt and his crazy life. I'm off to lunch now. Looking forward to Reno 911 tonight. Late

What a great weekend! We spent 10 or 12 hours on the beach over the weekend and it was perfect. The sun came out and came STRONG! It was a bit humid, but nothing like Ohio. I talked to people who were actually complaining about it, I just punched them. Tracey and I did a little boogey boarding yesterday, but there were so many people in the water, it was actually scary, people running into us and what not, crazy. We watched Shanghai Nights Friday, and it didn’t suck, but it was nowhere near the first one. I talked with Mike last night, he’s in Portland, it may be a week till he gets down here, I told him to take his time and enjoy Cali on his way down. Today I’m getting back into Blaster the Rocketboy and it rocks. Well, it looks like our neighbor of our new condo is the culprit for the leak. His garden soil is too far up on the outside of the condo, so he’s probably watering a lot and the water is seeping into the stucko, and into our place. So we should find out today if our neighbor is going to be cooperative and dig out his soil from the wall. We’ve met this guy and he’s really cool, so it should not be an issue.

Tracey has to get a root canal today, bad for her. Played some bball yesterday in OB, and it was really good, won like 5 straight games. I’m turning golden brown from all the sun, I love it. I found myself yesterday thinking I’ve never been happier. Every time we have a great weekend on the beach I feel this way, and that does not suck. Saturday night Tracey and I went out with this couple for the first time (I work with the girl, Sue). We went to a Mexican place in OB, which was good, then went to Bullfrogs, a sports like bar down by the beach. We played shuffle board, which I love to do and haven’t done since being in BG over Christmas, and we played some foosball. After that we went to the Catalina Lounge, which is just down from our current apartment and played some darts and had some pizza. It was a great time and Sue and Tom (her husband) are cool people, both from back east, Tom is from Indiana, and Sue is from Baltimore. It was nice to go out with some people. This coming weekend we are having a beach party with a bunch of different people, some work friends, some normal friends. Gonna have a BBQ and bon fire later that night. I can’t wait. I’m bumbed about tonight cause I got some free Padres tickets against the Cardinals, so I could root against them for the Astros, but then I realized I had my stupid FramMaker class tonight at UCSD. Stoopid. Well, I guess I have Reggie to look forward to tomorrow.
