Today is the second straight day that it has rained, and I don’t like it. I did not get to play bball yesterday because of the stupid rain. I have been very busy the last few nights playing with my new computer. Thanks to my Dad (lest you all think I’m filthy rich), I have purchased a new Imac, 17-inch version, very cool. They just came out with the 1GHz models last week, so my timing was perfect, and two weeks ago they went down 200$ in cost, so that was also a good thing. The current best part of it is that I have a working CD burner now. It only takes 4-5 minutes to burn one cd now, amazing. The Imac also has a DVD burner, so I need to try that out soon. Needless to say, I am very stoked on it. Writing this blog about it has almost been as exciting as buying the computer in the first place (just like you said Mike :) ).

On another note, I watched some great basketball on tv last night. Kentucky kept up their winning ways, and I did catch the Texas game on Monday Justin, congrats. Tracey and I are started to get geared up for our big weekend in San Fran. We are leaving Friday morning and coming back Monday night. It should be a great time. Joel, I still need directions.

Another fun weekend in the books. On Friday night Tracey and I went to a cool roof top beach bar downtown, then got some good food in little Italy. I stayed up rally late and finished the Band of Brothers DVD’s, very good. It was a great night. So I slepped in till like 1:30 in the afternoon on Saturday. I was going to try to play some bball with donkey boy, but he was not up to it, so Tracey and I went down to Sunset Cliffs and sat in our camping chairs, watching the ocean, the surfers and reading, watching the sunset, a nice time. Later that night we went out to dinner downtown with some friends of ours, including donkey boy. After dinner, we were going to go see a movie, but I was not feeling very good for some reason, so we just went home and chilled. Yesterday, we got new tires for our Honda, and it drives so nice now, we had been having trouble with our old tires, out of alignment or something.

Then I went to go surfing in OB, but it did not go well. The surf report said it was 2 to 3 ft, but when I got out there, it was more like 4 to 6, and strong current. I was reluctant at first, but decided to give it a shot. I started paddling out and the waves kept coming. I could not get past the breaking waves, and the current kept pushing back towards the beach. I was not advancing at all and getting frustrated. Then I saw this big wave coming and I tried to bail into the wave, but it knocked me off the board before I could get off, the leash wrapped around my waist and when I came up the first time from this wave, the board pulled me back under and turned me all around and I ended up floating all the way to the beach. I was totally shook up and blowin snot everywhere. I stood there on the beach for 20 minutes trying to get my charge back on, but I couldn’t. Joel, I guess I am a baby. I realized that I have so much further to go to really learn how to surf and that I really felt like I was risking my life by going back in. To begin with, I am not a very good swimmer. I will not give up though, the thrill of catching a wave is too strong, and I will prevail!

Dad-tonight I may go get the IMAC
