More Than A Porpoise, More Than A Man, A Manimal

I want a Porpoise who will laugh for no one else

I drove up to LA yesterday. Tracey's mom bought us a very nice kitchen table set from Pier 1, but the set was scattered among several stores in SoCal, and the chairs were in LA, and they wouldn't deliver. The store was near Santa Monica, and I didn't want to drive home in rush hour traffic, so I killed some time shopping and then I saw Master and Commander, which I liked very much. Later on I stopped by my friend Rob's place in Redondo Beach, then I drove home and watched the new Real World, which is based in SD. Right now I'm killing some time until I head up to LaJolla to play some ball. Tomorrow is my 29th birthday, in case you forgot. Lucky for me I have no job, so I can enjoy the whole day. I'm planning on heading up to Encinitas with Tracey, get some Starbucks, go to the ocean and watch surfers and enjoy a cigar. Then we're going to see The Return of the King, then out to dinner. This weekend we will hook up with some other friends and hang. I don't have much to say about being 29, except it's dangerously too close to 30. I found new jobs that I'm in the process of applying for, so that's encouraging, we'll see what happens with them. I got many nice gifts for christmas, including a PS2. I've gotten several games, including Galaga, which makes me happy. Tracey said I'm not allowed to talk about video games on my blog, so I'll quit. I'm also getting an electric guitar and amp from my Dad, it still needs to be ordered. I'm very excited about that gift. Oh, I forgot, I'm going to try to surf tomorrow morning as well, if I can get up. Allright, all I really want for my birthday is a new job.
